hi im 38+1 and this past week my sleeping pattern ahs been really messed up.
im not even getting remotly sleepy untill 2-3am i get woekn up by my partners alarm going off at 5am (some days i dont get up but most days i do cos im to hungry to fall back to sleep). I get up and have breakfast with him and see him off to work i make my way back to bed by 6-6:30am and end up drifting off for an hour of two at the most.
its not that im uncomfy or anything like that cos im not im jsut not sleepy, ive tried cutting out all caffine all together and it hasnt helped at all and im not having naps during the day anymore purely cos i cant sleep.
i saw my ob today and basically he just said it was normal and its cos im a big giant incubator!
so my question is can my midwife or doctor prescribe me anything? its driving me nuts ive had about ten hours sleep in the last two days and its really messing me around
just so you know im in australia
lol i just thought i might add i know im gunna be getting alot less sleep when i have my baby but ive been around alot of babies my mums a foster carer and ive had alot of wakefull nights helping her out. im fine when i have a reason for my lack of sleep such as a hungry baby im not fine when i dont have a reason, sorry just thought id add that ladies. thanx
